Our time in Durban consisted of the evening of the 14th, after flying from Skukuza, through our departure from Africa on the 20th, except for a little touring after the race.

On Thursday, June 15, we went to the runner's expo and got our numbers.

The Ultimate Human Race (Comrades 2000 up run) was on Friday, June 16.

On Saturday, June 17 we just hung around Durban getting over it.

On Sunday, June 18 we rented a car and traveled into the countryside, spending the night at the Sandford Park Lodge near Bergville.

On Monday, June 19 we drove through the battlefields of Zululand and wound up back in Durban by nightfall.

Then it was time to return to America.
